The A60 is made out of Series 7000 aluminum (just like the rest of Excel’s aftermarket rims), but thanks to its unique design, it’s 15 percent stronger than a standard rim. If I remember correctly, Excel says their rims are double heat treated. What that means I'm not sure. The 7000 series aluminum's are heat treated, the process of extruding the rim should also work harden the aluminum, so not sure if they then do something like anneal it to relieve stress and then heat treat again or what.
